Brownlee Land Development (BLD Homes) embraces integrity in our operations and business relationships. As an employer and partner, we apply our core values through value-based management by striving to create a positive workplace environment for all employees and partners. Ethics is an integral part of BLD Homes. One of the key factors to our success has been our reputation for integrity and fair dealings. Our reputation continues to be one of our most valuable assets as we move forward. encounters unsafe working conditions, or where the required equipment, tools or
machinery present a serious health and safety concern, the employee shall have the
right to refuse any work that they believe to be unsafe.
Guidelines for functioning in an electronic world are the same as the values, ethics and confidentiality policies employees are expected to live every day, whether you’re posting on social media, talking with customers, or talking with friends. Your responsibility to BLD Homes doesn’t end after work hours. For that reason, this policy applies to both company-sponsored social media and personal use as it relates to BLD Homes.
BLD Homes is committed to building and preserving a safe, productive, and healthy working environment for its employees based on mutual respect. In pursuit of this goal, BLD Homes does not condone and will not tolerate acts of violence or harassment/bullying against or by any BLD Homes employee.
Health & Safety
As set out in the Ministry of Labour 2014–15 mandate letter, the CHSAP will strengthen workplace injury and illness prevention for construction workers across the province.
Construction projects should be safe workplaces. Workers, supervisors and employers are all responsible for safety. Construction site safety is everyone’s responsibility.
