BLD Homes is a family-run builder with deep roots in Lanark County. Since 2005, we’ve crafted quality homes with care and local pride. From our beginnings in Perth to building in Beckwith and Carleton Place, we’re proud to grow in the communities we call home. Our McEwen’s Mill community blends history and nature on a site once home to a quarry and sawmill. At BLD Homes, we build the houses—our clients make them home.

Founder

Avis has worked in many business ventures and fields but still has the creativity of a new entrepreneur. She ran the Perth Metro Grocery store for years as the first female to do so, alongside her son, BLD Homes other founder, Brent. We look to Avis for wisdom and guidance on all company business ventures.

Project Manager

With over 25 years of diverse experience in project management, Marc is responsible for the scope, schedule and cost of a home build and manages our BLD Homes sales centre. He manages take-offs, RFQs and procures building materials, from exterior cladding to interior finishes.

Cole

Cole

Assistant Foreman

Cole has talents in many areas including home building with a specialty in foundations, business administration, customer service, and humour. Cole acts as onsite warranty coordinator and assistant project manager. He will be able to answer any questions you have regarding your home’s build timeline, PDI and warranty.

Team Lead / Site Supervisor

A strong team leader and always able to put a smile on your face, Dale is Shane’s right hand man and has several trade skills. Dale started with us in 2013 and has proven to be an exceptional team member and leader.

Scott is a master of all with many years of experience in maintenance, mechanics, landscaping and masonry.

Frank is a master carpenter or as we think of him, a magician. Frank can do it all and is a great asset to the BLD Homes team.

Administrative Manager

Chloe manages our residential and commercial rental properties located in the Ottawa Valley. With a background in hotel management, Chloe is used to wearing many different hats to get the job done right. She works to push forward new developments and is committed to ensuring our tenants have a positive experience when renting from BLD Homes.

Marketing and Sales Manager

With a bachelor in creative advertising and a passion for real estate, Troy manages the marketing for BLD Homes. He also helps out on the administration front and leads BLD Homes charity work initiatives. He can answer any marketing related questions you may have.
