Our Building Approach

Here is an outline of our Home Building Approach for our single-family homes. Depending on the size and style of the home, the lot, municipal inspections, availability of labour, weather and many other factors, the building schedule may be affected.

Covenants and Building Restrictions

The following covenants shall be incorporated into all contracts for purchase and sale from the owner with the express intent that they shall be covenants running with the lands for the benefits of the lands in the subdivision as a building scheme, as set out in section 17(a) and (b) of the Subdivision Agreement.

Septic Smart

Advanced treatment systems for septic, offer reliable, approved treatment of household wastewater. Cleaner effluent exiting the advanced treatment unit makes the advanced treatment system more versatile than a conventional septic system. This booklet will help you become familiar with advanced treatment units that provide a higher level of treatment than septic tanks.

Tarion Warranty

Tarion Warranty

Tarion is a private, not-for-profit consumer protection organization established to administer the province’s new home warranty program. By law, all new homes built in Ontario are provided with a warranty by the builder. Tarion’s role is to ensure that buyers of newlybuilt homes in Ontario receive the coverage they are entitled to under their builder’s warranty.

Resale Home Tarion Warranty

When you buy a resale home, you may still have coverage under Tarion. In Ontario, the statutory warranty on a new home lasts for a total of seven years from the date the original purchaser takes possession, or in the case of a condominium unit, takes occupancy. This warranty stays with the home regardless of how many times it changes hands during those seven years. If you’ve bought a house or condominium that is fewer than seven years old, confirm that you have remaining warranty coverage.
